Let me just say quickly that Fred’s bilirubin dropped from
8.6 to 3.2 and his creatinine is now at 1.5 (both not quite normal, but
trending in the right direction); his face and eyes no longer look like he was
in a tanning bed; and while he did need insulin at breakfast and lunch, his
glucose came down and NO INSULIN at dinner or bedtime!
Here's the part where I show this to you, I drop the mic
and I walk away….
BAM!
Bam! mic drop indeed!!! Fred is 100% a stud!!! Love seeing that erect walk -- way to go, Fred! Karen, you must be feeling soooo exhausted and relieved. Sending you massive love, full gale, almost like a tornado....what, too soon??!! XO
ReplyDeleteBetter keep the car ready, Karen. One of these days Fred's gonna start walking and won't stop till he gets to California! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Karen and Fred! Been running around past 3 days and just caught up on the Rock Star's progress! Glad you found an apt! Is anyone there with you? A sweet friend of mine from Lincoln said she'd be happy to visit Fred on my behalf. Lived in Nebraska forever, might be a good contact! How long will fred be in patient? Love yu both!
ReplyDeleteHi Chris.I expect to get out between Tuesday and Thursday. I'm told that I'm doing well. They have a great program here.
DeleteWith luck I'll be going home 6 to 8 weeks from now,but of course I'll stay as long as they deem necessary. I would like to meet your friend but I don't want to impose on them, Especially since I won't be here long. Our apartment is very small and between Carmen,Karen and me it will be very tight. So thanks but a day trip is about all I can handle. Love and miss you.
